Q & A’s
Q. Can you tell me what’s wrong with me?
A. According to New Zealand law and our own Constitution, only a registered, medical doctor is able to diagnose issues or illness.
Q. Will I have to take my clothes off?
A. There is no need to remove any clothing under any circumstances with spiritual healing. For your own comfort you may wish to remove overcoat or shoes.
Q. Will the healer give me messages from people who have died?
A. No. Although many healers are also clairvoyant their purpose with the NZFSH is strictly healing. If you are aware that a healer gives spiritual readings, this must be done outside of the hours/days set aside for NZFSH spiritual healing time.
Q. Can a spiritual healer give massage or do manipulations?
A. No. Only a qualified person can do this and it is not practiced, even by a qualified practitioner, during NZFSH healing sessions.
Q. Spiritual healing can sometimes achieve cures which orthodox medicine can’t – why?
A. Most doctors treat the symptoms of disease to try restore a state of harmony to the body. People become used to having symptoms masked or alleviated quickly. It takes time to develop a sickness and to heal completely and holistically is seldom a ‘quick fix.’
Q. Will it hurt?
A. Generally the act of healing causes no pain or discomfort. However, if the healing energy comes up against a blockage, there may be some discomfort until the blockage is cleared. Also, the freeing up of a locked joint or alignment of a broken bone for example, may cause some pain which will quickly move away. There is nothing to fear from spiritual healing. Every healing, wherever it may take place, is in the hands of God. The freeing of a locked joint or realignment of a slipped disc, for example, may be brought about solely through the power of spiritual healing.
Q. Should I stop seeing my Doctor when I’m receiving healing?
A. No! This would be very unwise as certain medications may be important for your particular condition. By receiving both medical treatment and spiritual healing you will receive the best treatment from both worlds. The ultimate goal of every healer is to be able to work in co-operation with the medical profession.
